The Wärmepumpen Testzentrum WPZ in Buchs SG is an EN ISO 17025 accredited test centre for heat pumps. It is incorporated into the Interstate University of Applied Sciences NTB (from September 2020 it will be called University OST). The laboratory contributes greatly to improving the quality of the heat pump in terms of efficiency and noise.

 

The WPZ is committed to accuracy, confidentiality and punctuality. The laboratory is internationally active and provides various certification measurements for the European market:

• EHPA seal of approval

• HP Keymark

• Eurovent NF

• Eurovent LCP

• BAFA

• MCS Certification

• Sound power level measurements

In addition to the numerous certification measurements, heat pump field measurements are also provided to promote the quality of the heat pump in the field. For this purpose, a measuring system was developed on behalf of Energie Schweiz that records and evaluates several measuring points (currently up to approx. 50) at intervals of 10 seconds.
